How we can help manage your groin or hip pain
At our clinic, we follow best-practice, evidence-based guidelines to assess and treat groin and hip pain. Our approach focuses on accurate diagnosis, progressive rehabilitation, and returning you safely to activity or sport.
Thorough Assessment & Diagnosis
We follow a structured approach to classify groin pain based on clinical presentation. This helps us target the most relevant area — whether it’s adductor, hip flexor, pubic, or joint-related — and design the right treatment pathway.

Progressive Loading & Strengthening
The cornerstone of groin pain management is a structured rehabilitation program that includes progressive strength and load-based exercises for the hip, core, and pelvis.
Research shows that a 12-week adductor strengthening program can significantly reduce injury risk and improve pain (Harøy et al., BJSM, 2019)
Return to Sport or Activity Planning
For athletes, we develop stage-based return-to-sport protocols that include sport-specific drills, agility, and change-of-direction mechanics. For non-athletes, we help restore confident movement and function for work, fitness, or daily life.

Manual Therapy & Symptom Management
Where appropriate, we may use hands-on techniques to reduce muscle tension, improve hip mobility, or assist with pain relief in the early stages.
Manual therapy is most effective when combined with active rehab, not as a stand-alone treatment (Cowan et al., 2010)
Education & Load Management
We guide you in managing training loads, rest-to-work ratios, and other factors to reduce recurrence risk. Helping you understand your condition and treatment plan improves long-term outcomes.
